CONCORD N.C. -- Alex Bowman already has won a race this year and also has two top-five finishes, four top-10s and the DAYTONA 500 pole award to his name so far in 2021.

Ahead of this weekend's race at Dover international Speedway, Bowman sat down to answer some of his fans' intriguing questions about this season and Bowman's life away from the track.

Take a look below to see his favorite coffee order, his top memory this year and how his dogs Finn and Roscoe are there for him on race day.

Q: What is the best part of driving the No. 48 this season?

AB: The best part of driving the No. 48 this season has been working with all the great people at Ally. It’s been so much fun to work with them and getting them their first win at Richmond.

When did you get your start in racing?

I started racing quarter midgets in Tucson, Arizona, when I was 7. I drove fast, turned left and won a lot of cool trophies

What is your go-to coffee order?

Since I am on a strict training regiment, I usually drink just black coffee. Pretty basic here.

Where do you see yourself in 15 years?

In 15 years, I’ll probably (be) racing Sprint cars or midgets somewhere.

What your favorite part of this year is so far?

My favorite part of this year so far is winning (at) Richmond. It was really cool.

What is your favorite part of interacting with fans and your most memorable moment?

I think just having the atmosphere with the fans is really cool. It’s nice to see them come back to the racetrack. I don’t really have a particular favorite fan moment.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be?

If I could live anywhere in the world, it would probably be somewhere in Colorado or Wyoming. I’m a big fan of cooler weather and the mountains.

What motivates you to keep going after experiencing any sort of failure?

I just want to win; I don’t like running poorly, so any time we struggle it’s part of the sport but it’s definitely frustrating, so I’m pretty self-motivated. I just want to win for me.

What is your favorite thing about racing?

My favorite part about racing is actually driving the race car. There are a lot of extracurricular activities that come along with it but driving the car is, by far, the best part.

How often do you bring Finn and Roscoe to tracks you can drive to?

Pretty much every time we drive to a track close to home, the dogs will come along for the ride.
