CONCORD, N.C. - Just four weekends remain in the 2025 NASCAR schedule in both the Cup Series and the Xfinity Series.
The latter was first up on a busy day of racing on Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It started with practice and qualifying early in the afternoon and it also included the No. 17 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet and driver, Corey Day.
The season's final event on a traditional 1.5-mile circuit, Day turned in a 19th-place qualifying effort and a time of 30.813 seconds. Prior to qualifying, Day turned in the sixth-best practice time with a lap of 30.618 seconds. That circuit was tops among all drivers in the first group.

It will mark Day's second national-series start at Las Vegas and his first since making a CRAFTSMAN Truck Series start at the 1.5-mile tri-oval in March.
Saturday night's Xfinity Series race is set for a 7:30 start. Practice and qualifying in the Cup Series was slated to start after Xfinity qualifying.
