CONCORD, N.C. -- And then there were two.

This weekend, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series takes a break.

But then come the final two races of the regular season -- followed by the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Saturday night's race at Bristol Motor Speedway shifted the potential Chase Grid yet again.

Jimmie Johnson held on to his position atop the grid thanks to his four wins and points lead over Kyle Busch.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. remained in sixth place with two wins.

Jeff Gordon, who has yet to find Victory Lane, holds steady as the 15th seed. He is just two points behind Paul Menard, 11 points from Ryan Newman and 24 points away from Jamie McMurray.

Kasey Kahne is currently out of the Chase Grid, 37 points behind Clint Bowyer, who currently maintains 16th place.

But the driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet SS remains confident as the season winds down. After all, he clinched a postseason berth last season in the penultimate race before the Chase.
