Kyle Busch Driving Delphi Chevy Saturday at Vegas

LAS VEGAS (March 8, 2007) - Although NASCAR rules won’t allow a navigational system in Kyle Busch’s Chevrolet this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, his No. 5 Busch Series sponsor is well-equipped to outfit die-hard NASCAR Nation.
In fact, Delphi’s new NAV200 is perfect for fans who need a guide through post-race traffic. Saturday’s event will mark the first of five races on the No. 5 Chevy for Delphi, a leading supplier of mobile electronics and transportation systems.
Busch was raised in Las Vegas and attended nearby Durango High School, where he graduated one year early with honors. Prior to his graduation at the age of 17, Busch had already posted two top-10 finishes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
“Growing up in Las Vegas, for me, wasn’t any different than how I think other kids grew up,” Busch said. “Away from the strip, it’s suburbia out there. It’s like any town.
“I lived in a neighborhood with other kids and went to a normal high school. This is definitely a tourist town with a lot going on, but when you’re a kid it’s just home.”
Crew chief Mike Bumgarner has selected Hendrick Motorsports Chassis No. 403 as the primary option for Saturday’s Busch Series event at Las Vegas. The car has never been raced, but was tested at LVMS in February.
