MOORESVILLE, N.C. (April 29, 2009) – The Dale Jr. Foundation, in recognition of its special primary paint scheme that will be featured on the No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet during the NASCAR Sprint All-Star race, has announced it will host an All-Star suite fundraiser to benefit several area charities. With the purchase of a Dale Jr. All-Star suite ticket, race fans can experience a variety of VIP activities surrounding the race, including an appearance by both Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Richard Petty. The money raised will benefit The Dale Jr. Foundation and Speedway Children’s Charities. “I’m looking forward to everything we have planned around the All-Star race this year,” Earnhardt said. “I think The Dale Jr. Foundation paint scheme will look good under the lights, and it’s fun to change it up from time to time. I want to thank AMP Energy and National Guard for letting me do this. They basically gave up the hood of the car for The Dale Jr. Foundation.” Fans that purchase an All-Star suite ticket get a reserved seat in a luxury box overlooking the 1.5-mile Lowe's Motor Speedway, complete with complimentary food and drink throughout the race. Also included are a cash bar, souvenir gift bag and eligibility for raffle prizes. Prior to the start of the 100-lap race, tickets holders can enjoy a pre-race tour of pit road and a visit by Earnhardt and Petty in the VIP suite. “The All-Star suite is going to be a lot of fun,” Earnhardt said. “If I wasn’t racing, that is exactly the place I would want to chill out and watch the race. It’s one of the best views you can get at the track. Fans lucky enough to get these tickets will have an experience they’ll never forget, and it’s for a great cause.” The Dale Jr. All-Star suite tickets still are available for $288 apiece.
