RICHMOND, Va. – One hundred laps are complete at Richmond International Raceway and Chase Elliott led his teammates to the green-checkered flag in 11th.

The two cautions of Stage 1 helped Elliott and the No. 24 NAPA Brakes Chevy team to move through the field and jump four positions from his starting place.

Teammate Jimmie Johnson finished just behind him on the same row in 13th.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. was one of the biggest movers of the stage but finished 21st as a result of a speeding penalty after the second caution.

Kasey Kahne finished the stage in 23rd.

Matt Kenseth won the stage.

Stage 2 will consist of another 100 laps before a final 200-lap final segment.
