Team Lowe's Wins Snowy Busch Race at Bristol

BRISTOL, Tenn. (March 25, 2006) - A heated battle for the win completed a race interrupted by snow in the NASCAR Busch Series event at Bristol Motor Speedway Saturday as Kyle Busch snatched the lead from Greg Biffle with 12 laps to go. Driving his No. 5 Lowe's/Shop-Vac Chevrolet, Busch withstood heavy pressure from Kevin Harvick to the finish. It was Busch's first career win at Bristol and his seventh in Busch Series competition. Just 32 laps in, a second heavy snow began falling, which delayed the race more than an hour. In all, there were 13 caution periods for 80 laps. Busch’s late-race pass of 2002 series champion Biffle for the lead was the ninth lead change of the race.
