CONCORD, N.C. – Jimmie Johnson has had quite the winning streak at Texas Motor Speedway.

And this weekend, he’ll look to continue that success, along with his three Hendrick Motorsports teammates as they take to the track Saturday night.

However, before the green flag flies, take a look at these eight things to know about Johnson’s history at Texas Motor Speedway.

1) Johnson has won the last three consecutive races at Texas Motor Speedway. He found himself in Victory Lane in four of the last five and five of the last seven events at the track.

2) Part of Johnson’s winning streak includes his sweep of the Texas podium in 2015.

3) Johnson says the “seasoned” surface at Texas fits his driving style and with 500 miles of racing action, there is plenty of time to make the right adjustments.

4) According to NASCAR’s loop data, Johnson has the series-best driver rating at Texas Motor Speedway among active drivers, scoring a 108.4 rating. The driver rating is a formula that combines wins, top-15 finishes, average running position while on the lead lap, average speed under green, fastest lap, most laps led and lead-lap finishes. The maximum a driver can earn in each race is 150 points.

5) Hendrick Motorsports has a combined total of eight wins, 31 top-five finishes and 56 top-10s. The organization has also earned six pole positions and led 2,251 laps at the track. Johnson has contributed six wins, 13 top-five finishes and 19 top-10s to that total. He’s earned one pole award and has led almost half of the total laps led with 1,023.

6) Johnson holds the title for most all-time wins and laps led at the Lone Star State track.

7) The driver’s average starting position at Texas is 8.4.

8) Johnson has made it to Victory Lane at Texas Motor Speedway with four different paint schemes including Lowe’s, Lowe’s/Kobalt Tools, Lowe’s Red Vest and Lowe’s ProServices.
