SPARTA, Ky. - It's race day at Kentucky Raceway. Here's a primer to get you prepared.


Today's race will be broadcast on NBCSN, PRN and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio.

The race runs 267 laps. Stage 1 ends on Lap 80. Stage 2 ends on Lap 160.

The green flag is scheduled for approximately 7:45 p.m. ET.


Jimmie Johnson will lead the Hendrick Motorsports team to the green flag from eighth place.

Chase Elliott will roll off the grid in 12th. Dale Earnhardt Jr. qualified in 13th position and Kasey Kahne will take the green flag from 23rd.



In six races at Kentucky, Hendrick Motorsports has posted two poles, five top-five finishes, 14 top-10s and 213 laps led. Kentucky Speedway, which began hosting NASCAR’s premier series in 2011, is the only active track where Hendrick Motorsports has not produced a win in the Cup Series.
