KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Wednesday evening, Hendrick Motorsports Gaming Club drivers competed in the 12th race of the eNASCAR Heat Pro League playoffs at Kansas Speedway.

Kicking off the night on PlayStation 4 was No. 25 driver Nick Jobes, who took the green flag in seventh. He quickly made his way into the top five until a caution with 50 laps to go waved for a multiple-car incident. When the field returned to green, Jobes advanced to fourth as he worked to gain on the leaders.

As the final six laps of the race commenced, the driver made his way to the top three as he raced for the win.

On the final lap he made slight contact with the wall, which ultimately led him to a third-place result.

Next up on Xbox One was Sam Morris, who raced from the NASCAR Productions studio in Charlotte, North Carolina. Rolling off in third, the driver moved throughout traffic to settle into the outside lane in fourth.

As the competition caution waved the driver had advanced to third. After a hectic restart, he settled into fourth before another caution. Morris took to pit road before returning to the field in seventh.

After getting bumped by a competitor, the No. 5 Chevrolet received rear damage while racing in sixth with 28 laps to go. With 15 laps left in the race, Morris was sitting in ninth. At the last five laps, the driver was involved in a multi-car incident resulting in a caution.

At the restart he worked to make up position. Ultimately, he finished Wednesday’s race in eighth.

The next race in the eNASCAR Heat Pro League season comes Oct. 9 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
