CONCORD, N.C. -- Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott will start in the front row for Sunday's race at Michigan International Speedway.

Larson earned the Busch Pole Award and will rev his engine from first place while Elliott will start next to him in second at the Brooklyn, Michigan, venue.

Alex Bowman also earned a top-10 starting position and will begin the race in 10th place. William Byron completes the Hendrick Motorsports brigade with an 18th-place start.

The starting lineup was set based on the metrics formula from last season. It applies the data from the driver's finishing position of the last race (25%), the car owner's finishing position from the last race (25%), team owner points ranking (35%) and the fastest lap from the previous race.
