CONCORD, N.C. – Hendrick Motorsports will head to Talladega Superspeedway for the 10th NASCAR Cup Series event of the 2022 season.

Chase Elliott enters the weekend as the points leader. He won the 2019 spring race at the 2.66-mile track to be the squad's most recent winner at Talladega. His 9.86 average finish over the last seven superspeedway races is best among drivers with more than two starts on that track type in that span.

All four Hendrick Motorsports drivers enter this weekend in the top 10 in points. In addition to Elliott's spot atop the standings, William Byron occupies fourth, Alex Bowman is tied for fifth and reigning Cup Series champion Kyle Larson sits in ninth. In last year's spring race at Talladega, Byron was the runner-up finisher.
