COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Tuesday afternoon Alex Bowman, crew chief Greg Ives and members of the No. 88 team made a visit to Columbus, Ohio, the hometown of partner Nationwide Insurance.
To kick off the day, the team took a tour of the Nationwide Children's Hospital, including the interventional radiology suite, the rehabilitation floor and the Dale & Amy Earnhardt Activity Room.
Following the hospital visit, the team made their way to Ohio State University, where they received a tour of the facility, including the press box, coaches room, locker room and recruit room. There was even a little time on the schedule to throw a football around on the field.
The last stop of the day was at the Columbus Blue Jackets game at the Nationwide Arena, where Bowman and Ives took part in a tricycle race during second intermission.
