CONCORD, N.C. -- As the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series prepares to take on Bristol Motor Speedway Sunday at 1 p.m., a new feature is grabbing attention.
The four-sided video screen known as "Colossus" hangs in the center of the venue, weighing approximately 700 tons.
Each of the four video screens measures 68 feet wide by 30 feet tall. The complete structure is approximately three stories high and features a massive sound sytem.
Colossus makes its debut this weekend, but Jimmie Johnson got to see the project while it was under construction last month.
