CONCORD, N.C. -- A brand new, six-part documentary series debuted this week, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. played a big role.
From executive producers including Tom Brady and Michael Strahan comes "Religion of Sports." The idea is to examine unique examples where sports "profoundly influence societies and cultures in a manner that extends far beyond merely entertainment value."
Tuesday night, the NASCAR episode of the documentary premiered, and Earnhardt was heavily featured.
The episode will re-air tonight at 5 p.m. ET on Audience. Check your local listings for the network.
