CONCORD, N.C. – With Thanksgiving on the horizon, the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation and Jimmie Johnson Foundation are both supporting the #GivingTuesdayCLT initiative.
#GivingTuesdayCLT is part of a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
More than 170 nonprofits throughout Charlotte and the surrounding areas are working to raise $8,000,000 collectively for the communities they serve.
The big day is Tuesday, Nov. 29, and until then, both the JGCF and JJF are holding matching gift programs.
Gordon is matching all Charlotte-area donations up to $19,230.77, which is equal to one week’s worth of childhood cancer research hours. To learn more and make a donation, click here.
