SPARTA, Ky. – The first 80 laps are complete at Kentucky Speedway and Hendrick Motorsports has two teammates inside the top 10.

Jimmie Johnson took the green flag in eighth and consistently ran at the front of the field, finishing Stage 1 in ninth. He received two bonus points.

Chase Elliott, who rolled off the grid in 12th, made his way into the top 10 within the first 10 laps. He took the green-checkered flag in 10th and picked up a single bonus point.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. was the next teammate to cross the line, starting the race and finishing the stage in 13th.

After starting the race from the 23rd position, Kasey Kahne quickly worked his way into the top 15 and held on for a 15th-place stage finish. 

Martin Truex Jr. won the stage.

Stage 2 will consist of another 80 laps before a final 107-lap segment.
