MADISON, Ill. – Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott will line up alongside each other for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at WWT Raceway.
Larson will start 15th in the No. 5 Valvoline Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, while Elliott will take the grid 16th in No. 9 Hooters Chevy Camaro.
William Byron is set to start 24th in the No. 24 RaptorTough.com Camaro, while Alex Bowman and the No. 48 Ally Racing team will be 25th when the race goes green.

Chase Briscoe earned the pole for the 240-lap race at the 1.25-mile track located outside of St. Louis.
Friday’s practice was the first on-track activity ever for Cup drivers at this facility. Only Byron has past experience at this venue with a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start in 2016. In the 50-minute practice session, Larson was the top Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet on the speed chart and the 10-lap average board as he was eighth in both categories.

Entering this weekend, Hendrick Motorsports has won four of the last six races contested at tracks that have hosted Cup races for the first time. Three of those victories came last season with Elliott winning the first premiere series races at Circuit of The Americas and Road America, while Larson won at Nashville Superspeedway. WWTR is the only new points-paying track on the schedule this season.
Hendrick Motorsports is nearing a major milestone: 100,000 miles led. Currently, the organization has led 99,902.90 miles in its history and needs just under 98 miles led to cross the 100K mark. For that to be reached at this track, the team will need to lead 79 laps.
