The Last Time: Homestead-Miami Speedway

CONCORD, N.C. -- Sunday marks the 2014 Sprint Cup Series finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

While all four Hendrick Motorsports drivers will have their eyes on Victory Lane to close out the year on a high note, a Cup championship will remain just out of reach.

But this time last year, Homestead was the site of a Hendrick Motorsports celebration.

Jimmie Johnson clinched his sixth NASCAR Sprint Cup championship with a ninth-place finish at the 1.5-mile track.

It marked the 11th title for Hendrick Motorsports, making Rick Hendrick the all-time leader in Sprint Cup owner championships.

In the same race, Dale Earnhardt Jr. led the four Hendrick Motorsports drivers to the checkered flag, taking home a third-place finish.

All four drivers finished in the top 13, with Jeff Gordon placing 11th and Kasey Kahne rounding out the foursome in 13th.
